Hi, I'm about to buy a 2008 RX-8, and arranged to get a compression test done at the Mazda dealership in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Mazda dealership did the test but used an analog gauge and only provided 95 psi as the result (no rpm, etc). I had confirmed they had the correct tester when booking the appointment and since it turns out they don't, I refused to pay $180 for the test.

Apparently the Mazda dealer in Saskatoon has the proper compression test equipment, however getting the owner's car there is a problem.

Does anyone know if there is a shop/mechanic/user in Regina that can do a proper compression test ?
