Yes premixing is more beneficial in the early (04 and 05 RX-8's) and I have not been able to track down anyone in our area who sells idemitsu premix unless it is ordered in from ebay although i did hear of a shop in toronto that supposedly carries it but have yet to look into it...... so i use Amsoil semi-synthetic, purchased at Crappy Tire..... i believe its the Amsoil Sabre, will double check when i finish work and let you know...

I got me some quarts of idemitsu from one of the rx8 owners at a meet he sold me 5 quarts for 50.
After that i never premixed tho

Let's say goodbye to winter by meeting fellow RX8ers down at the Bayfront Park parking lot in Hamilton. There is Hutch's Harbour Front nearby where you can get fries, burgers, fish & chips and ice cream. Both the meet and Hutch's can be seen on the attached map.

Yep. I'll be there regardless of numbers posted (not fat for me). On the Facebook group, there were 2 or 3 others that said they would be there.

 

I'm on call, but I'll be by as long as i'm not working. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Why don't ya'll join the GTA meet on May 31st. Its supposedly one of the largest meet. We have about 60+ cars signed up.. It would be great to have as many rotaries as we can and see what people are doing with theirs :-)

 

I'll be going to the May 31 meet (400 & Highway 7) the week after, and I've been promoting it and will be promoting it on the 24th as well. I'm hoping we can get meet interest out in the "far west" and maybe those out here can organize a cruise to the GTA meet from this area. Perhaps the Highway 6 & 401 car pool lot would be a good assembly point.

 

I was hoping to get to this meet Sunday but looks like I have to work, will be trying to get to the meet in Toronto next week. Look forward to meeting some other RX 8 people!

 

Looks like there won't be many able to make the meet on the Hamilton Bay Front Park on Sunday (May 24). Let's cancel and reschedule for sometime in June.
For those who do want to meet-up with other 8s and 7s, there will be a GTA group meet on May 31 (Highway 7 & 400 area). See you there.

 

I'm still going to drive by there in the morning if anyone else is still feeling up for a small meet
