Canadian Tire Amsoil Prices
Anyone use Interceptor from Amsoil for premix?
Ive been using that stuff for a year now and I noticed CT increase the prices from 10$ to 11.99$ before the holidays and in January increased it to 14.99 a quart.
Seems they are now charging the same price as specialty bike shops.
I'll have to find a cheaper alternative or just accept the price hike.

I started out using Saber Pro, however found it hard to source.
CT in my area doesnt have Dominator... I'll have to start digging around for other sources
Havent used Dominator yet, I'll give it a try.

Some Canadian Tire stores in Toronto carry the Redline two-stroke racing oil pre-mix. Call around and see if you can source them in Quebec.

I order in the conveniently sized little bottles of Amsoil Sabre by the case from my friendly neighbourhood motorcycle shop.
*edit: Didn't know RPM was doing Idemitsu now. I'll have to look into that. How much is in a case?

It depends, well anyway the recommended is 4oz per tank. But you put it in before you fill up the tank, so it will mix better, if not the premix will become a lump and stay uptop in the fuel tank.
Also it depends what Amsoil you had, if you had something like Amsoil 2 stroke saber pro or interceptor, you scrwed yourself But you should get the ones I just said as they work great.

Did you guys all get rid of the oil injection system in your cars? Why on earth would you add more oil especially putting it through your fuel system? Do you have any idea what that does to your fuel pump and injectors?? Do you know what the additional oil does to your apex seal springs etc? We premix because we dont have an oil injection system and disassemble the fuel pump, fuel filter and carb after every hour of racing to clean all the varnish out. We premix at a ratio of 100/1.
