Canadian Cobb Owners

Just a thread about discussion of the Cobb AP here in Canada. So who`s ordered one. Qtwre seems like you have, when are you expecting delivery. Also what mods do you have so far that will let you play around with. I remember you have the Greddy SP2 and the MS intake. Do you have anything else.

O, also wondering if R.P.M. will be picking one up, and tuning with Cobb`s software when they do release.

I`m really interested in the Cobb AP, I was looking at the Int-X, but at half the cost, and not having to resend your AP like in the case of the int-x to changed for FI is also a nice feature.

the AP will do everything that the Int-x can do...

I and AP can reload new maps on the Stock PCM and be able to remove the AP with having the map u uploaded still in the PCM

not to mention the extra features..

I will be also ordering one as soon as turborx8 confirms that it works for the CAN PCM as well.

Becuase they said it will only work for the USDM PCM.

How different is the CAN PCM compared to USDM? I would think they're VERY similar, i think when they said USDM only they probably didn't even think of us Canadians as a possible market =).

I am still waiting for mine. It was shipped on the 11th so it's going to be exactly 2weeks since it was shipped.

Gotta love USPS priority internaltion shipping.

I just sent you an e-mail. You still don't have it?
That's ridiculous.
I guess its better to wait than pay the UPS brokerage, but still...

It does work on Canadian models.
I have another PO going in on Wednesday, so if anyone wants one shipped this Friday, let me know.

I didn't have to pay the UPS brokerage on mine. I heard that if it goes by overnight/air, then we don't have to pay, but if it goes by ground we do. I don't know exactly why, but it's been true for me recently.

Now as to why UPS keeps leaving stuff unattended at my doorstep without requiring a signature...

I heard that air is charged brokerage in a different way. Supposedly you pay for it in the initial shipping fee. That's the word on the street anyway.

Well, I just do USPS "Express" on Canadian shipments and insure it, but list it as a "gift".
Its about $22 USD total, so I don't lose too badly on the $15 I usually charge for shipping.
