Hello all, Im in Winnipeg, 2009 R3 with 88000km on it. Beautiful metallic grey color, Ive never seen on a series 2 or an R3 before.. anyone have any info on this color? Yes, yes, i know the Japanese plate is tacky.. i like it so what.
I have the S2 brochure, but it's for the combinations available in the US.
Canadian combinations seem to be different. I had a Velocity Red GT with red interior, something that didn't exist on the brochure. We also have white R3s. Not sure if there exist a Canadian brochure.

the color code on the door is 32S, ive seen this color on plently of S1’s .. never an R3, maybe I got a lucky one, lol!

I have been a member for a bit, but I recently acquired my first RX8. It is in pieces right now as I am going through it. Wheels, both bumpers and fender liners and underbody plastics are off. Cleaning, fixing and painting calipers. Straightening fins on oil coolers. Possibly installing BHR ignition kit, although it fires up amazingly quick. Velocity Red Mica with 73K

2004 GT Back on the road 2 weeks ago. Finally stopped snowing up here in Kamloops. Turbo V2 this winter with new manifold, motor mount and injectors. Low mileage motor from a friend on the coast. This was a $1500 car I got in 2017.

That color is metropolitan grey.. which is very rare for a series 2.. and even rarer for an R3. You'll only see it on the European cars. In the UK there are about 10-15 R3's in that color. In Canada I've counted about 5ish or so of them. I liked that color so much I actually imported one of them from the Toronto region to the US. This particular color was only available in the US on a 2008 40th anniversary edition. which was a hybrid series 1 and series 2 rx8.
13g’s and the thing is basically new! Only 41k on the clock! Can’t believe it’s still for sale. I’m on the minority side about the colour. I’ve had a black car for over 10yrs. Never having another dark car.
I really wanted to find an R3 in Aurora blue. I find that colour extremely hard to find.
