Calgary Meet: Sunday Sept 21st, 2008
WE had not a bad turn out tonight considering the weather. ^ of us to start with one late addition.
WE stated off by doing the go-carts...and true to my Karma I broke two drivetrains in the go carts. I finiished with a 3rd car.
We later went on for some food and a quick cruise.

Haha...good pics, what camera were you using??
I think it was better than the Chestermere meet actually. That was hellah far, and we all left after brunch.
Tonight was a good time guys. Although my kart seemed rigged. Everyone was passing on the straights as if I'm a 300lbs fatass. I didn't even use my brakes for the whole track too. Argh...

This was an awesome meet =) Some of the karts didn't seem to be in the best condition.
Had awesome Korean food after wards (thanks to our Korean friend for choosing tasty stuff from the menu!)
If anyone still needs data logging before I leave let me know! Thanks to the RX8 Calgary members for showing up, maybe I'll cya guys all again next year!
dying_here's car looks VERY nice in person.
Thanks to philsbluerx8 to help me install the clutch reinforcement kit, I think if I were doing it my self I'd still be there trying to bend my body in ways so I could properly reinstall the assembly!
rotten42 was prob the fastest around the track before his karts started malfunctioning (insert rotary jokes here) and his IS350 is NICE. I thought it was neat that the RX8 convoy downtown was lead by an IS350 =)
In total the night was ~$45 (23 karting 22 food)
I'm most glad that it didn't start raining until after we were done go-karting =)

wow, they are already posted. I am going to bed now cuz have to wake up at 6:30 tmr and it really was an awesome meet. Dying here, u makes me wanna get body kits so bad but dont have money now. Next summer guys, go kart again and i would hope they will have toyota engine instead of the honda 9 hp "vtec" cuz that thing loses power just like the rotary (maybe cuz they are also high rev engine).
BTW, do those karts even have suspensions? How did u guys feel the car when under the little bridge cuz my ride was just like a pretty fast bicycle when going on that little bump (or maybe there was a little gap there).
