This is not looking good at all.....
My work got cancelled today becuase the snow was so bad not to mention i almost got into like
7 accidents this morning

 

it's looking to be pretty nasty so far, see what the +4 weather does to it over the next few days.

 

tell them not to be lazy and jack up the back and front of the car with a floor jack and then put the arms under it. we do that at our shop with all the low mustangs. or drive onto 4 blocks of wood.

 

I'm hoping for the best but you never know with this calgary weather

 

So I've decided to keep the winter tires on for at least a little while longer. I still hope to make it, but we'll just have to wait and see. As the old adage states: "If you don't like the weather in Alberta, wait 5 mins"

 

So i just checked the weather again and its gonna snow saturday and sunday.. Im still coming no matter what but if a lot of people cant make itwe can also have the meeting the weekend after i guess.

-And yes 1pm at crossiron mill in front of sporcheck.

-And yeah. Kurogane and Vulkan have no winters but i guess sumer tires would be ok if you drive slow because deerfoont and the main roads are gonna be ok.

-And take the car to the mazda dealer lol

 

yea 5-10 cm on Saturday now!! grrr
we could push it back a weekend, but i guess well see what the weather looks like tomorrow, cause yesterday it said snow for today too, but now there's none till tonight... our weather's too erratic to accurately predict lol

 

So there's been about 10cm of snow since Thursday here in Edmonton. It's sorta melting. What's the story in Calgary and on HW2?

It's snowing now, supposed to snow all day i'll see what it's like at noon but i likely won't make it due to the snow. I also don't wanna get stuck out there if it decides to dump in the middle of the afternoon!

I never took the winters off so I'll see everyone who can make it there. A little off topic - I even took it out the morning of the snow dump Thursday, it is my daily driver afterall, but you can't use the DSC in that much snow.

 

I'm going to bail as well. 3-5 hours will make a difference on the highway at this rate. We should reschedule for next month.

yeh I've driven my RX8 in enough Calgary "springs' to know this is a bad idea on summer tires (the countless times I have to the car @ car stations or friends house. I live by South Center Mall too!

 

BTW I"m down for reschedule!! i really want to come to a meet.

I was sooo excited last night when I went to bed at 430am and it wasn't snowing.

 

if you are on summers you shouldn't be driving in -4C regardless of snow or not!

I won't be making it either. Put my summers on last weekend and it snowed a bunch here too.

Yeah so i just talked to Ritchie and him and me will be there at 1pm by sportcheck to see who can make it. We can also reschedule anytime for everyone who wont be making it
