Checked out the Mazda Canada site and saw that the only 2 tone interior comes with Red/Black interior on Red car and brown/black on Titanium grey.

BTW, I saw a white 8 at a dealership on Yonge north of Steeles. Looked pretty good and a rear spoiler would go perfectly on it.

 

That sucks about the black. I just wish the red/black interior was available on the black, i love that combo, and if it was available i may have just gotten black....but i think shamblerock agrees with me, Velocity Red rules!! hahaha I really wanna see white though, i havent seen one in person yet

 

When we checked out the RX8 in black with 0.0kms on it, the tan was already dirty... We're planning on choosing a colour specifically to avoid the tan. It looks awesome, but if it scuffs that easily, why bother. That's good news then, I can put black back into the mix.

 

Well - it doesn't scuff that easily! My RX-8 has 22,000 km on it over 15 months, and I've used leather conditioner on the seats once (not cleaner). The tan on my seats is still spotless, no dirt or marks of any sort showing. That 22K km includes road trips to California and Manitoba, ski days, regular commuting, etc., with one or two kids along most of the time.

The car you saw obviously had a problem, maybe from a mechanic's dirty overalls - it would have had the same problem with an all-black interior, except you wouldn't have seen it until the dirt transferred to your clothes!

I have the combo interior w/black exterior. Have had the car 14 months, use leather conditioner maybe 4x per year and it looks fantastic. Not dirty, no bad wear, no scuffs. I like the 2 tone especially on the black!

 

Our black 8's are unique now would have liked black/black when I was about to purchase it. but i am glad it's black/tan(it's really grown on me

That's the pearl white model for 2005..... metallic paint charge is $200....

Too bad the interest rate is way too high.. I'd love to get the white!!!
