Best place to buy a mazdaspeed exhaust?

So far the dealer is charging just under 1000$ installed, tax in.

Is it worth it to buy it online (if so where)

From a Us dealer maybe?

Any other options?

Thanks

I suggest you take a look at the thread about the spring meet in RPM

In order to give a meaningful answer, you would have to tell us how much of that $1000 is the dealer charging for the exhaust, and how much is for installation.

Exhaust typically goes for around $650 from a US online dealer (like Rosenthal.)
Obviously, you would still need it installed. (Which is easy and you should do your self.)
So, if your dealer is charging $900 for the exhaust, and $100 to install it, buy it online.
If your dealer is charging $700 for the exhaust, and $300 to install it, you might as well buy it from them and get it installed someplace that's not ripping you off. (Or do your self.)

IRC it was 795$ for the exhaust + 1 hour job (85$) + tax = 1000$

The problem with buying online from the US is shipping cost + unknown duties.

Average price online is 630$ + free US shipping, but they charge an extra 80-120$ for shipping to canada, + duties and brokerage which are always a nice surprise.

Basically im looking for a canadian distributor other than the dealership

I got here at a local Mazda Dealership in Toronto, gave me club discount. I bought two pieces from him thou, a strut and the dual canister catback. You do realize that the Mazdaspeed parts in Canada dropped in price last November, I hope you do, or your dealership is scamming you. They went down, and its more efficient to buy it here and get a place like R.P.M. to install it. Are you coming out to the R.P.M. meet?

They are charging 785$ and that is the "official" price as of now, maybe it was higher before november.

Really? I just got a quote for MS kit this week, and the prices look ridiculous to me compared to the US prices.

I got my mazdaspeed exhaust on today

The sound is incredible!

nice and deep at low revs, and a nice growl at high revs

no drone on the highway

In my condo garage parking it sounds like a race car hehehe

how much did the MS parts drop down? i am looking for a good deal for MS shocks and springs; so far i am just waiting for the reply from Rosenthal mazda to see if they can ship it by USPS to me. this way, i might only pay about 40 bux for duties and 50 bux for shipping.

That's cool, let me know if they are able to ship through USPS. I might buy the front and rear strut towers if they can.

I think they came down by 10 or 15 percent. Basically at or cheaper than American prices due to the dollar. And my dealership also gives an additional 15 percent off through the club discount.

Really? Damn, the quote I got last month doesn't look like American prices to me. Nearly 2000 cdn just for the front MS bumper. Maybe I should try a different dealer.

These guys rips you off bad. There are a few dealers around me, the most expensive is the one closest to me, they also don't recognize my warranty. It's so much bullshit.
