Belated introduction

Picked up my '04 last week and have been poking around these forums for about a month and forgot to introduce myself, so hello to all my fellow Canucks.

I'm located in Newmarket, Ontario, I've worked for Magna for about 15 years as an engineer and, in addition to cars, have a love of motorcycles.

Hope to see some fellow RX-8 owners around and I'm sure I'll have some inevitable questions to ask of those with more experience with this car.

Oh, the car is a 2004 Titanium Grey 6-speed GT with the sunroof and navigation system and about 50k on the odometer. Lots of fun thus far, even in the winter (I put 17" Mazda rims on with Blizzak WS-60's), but am looking forward to putting the handling to the test when the dry weather shows up. Though, to be honest, I've never found a car to be as exciting as a bike when it comes to corners (though this one might come close).

Hey, someone from my hometown! One of my good friends started off as an engineer at Magna there.

Welcome to the addiction.

Welcome aboard.
I see all sorts of 8's in my area. I'm sure we'll bump into each other.

Hope to see you at some of the meets.

Lates,

Another Newmarket 8! Welcome
Gotta love the blizzaks in the winter!
You'll love this car in the corners when summer comes, the handling is one of the best attributes of the car.

Don't listen to WCS - we all know that VR's are the fastest

I don't know I think both white and silver are the fastest, we're faster than dirt, thats why you never see it on our cars.
