Mark I don't have liquid wrench, your *** needs to go to Crappy Tire to pick some up, lol. I'll bring a set of sockets I guess, along with the spark plug set and the long adapters.

I'll throw some liquid wrench and silicone spray in my trunk. Silicone to help with the bastard little rubber hangers for the exhaust, Just changed mine on Sunday.

If you're changing your exhaust down there i sure hope you've remembered to order a new doughnut gasket for in between the cat and the exhaust pipe.

Cool man thx!! From what I have heard liquid wrench is kinda like a silicone spray. How did your install go?

MS exhaust comes with the gasket and all parts needed. My gasket shouldn't be old anyhow since I got a new cat only 2 or 3 months ago. Thx for the thought!

Once i had the car up it took me about 45min with my father-in-laws help to get my Greddy SP2 installed, tested and the car back on the ground.

You want to use a silicone based lube on the rubber hangers for the exhaust. The chemicals in a liquid wrench type of product will damage the hangers.

The biggest PITA about getting the exhaust off was the single rubber hanger attached to the pipe. Also one of my spring bolts came apart in a funny way, and i had to use vice grips to hold the flange of the cat and the exhaust together in order to get the threads started(i'll bring those as well).

My biggest problem is that i haven't been able to enjoy it yet... STUPID F*&%ING SNOW!!!! KDW's and snow dont agree, i've had to take my winter beater to work the last couple of days... ARGH

Cool man!! Sounds ez enough and a bunch of guys have done quite a few already as well. Then the silicone stuff it is then. You can never be to prepared right lol.

That sucks...well you will get to try the exhaust out via the tunnel very soon. Gonna be sick!!

Hi, I'm looking for the cruise thread. I thought this was it but I must be confused as this appears to be some sort of install meet. :P

i just felt like showing off my favorite smilies. lol

as for the jackstands question, i think we went over that and the end result, if i recall correctly was that the shop had them and might be able to supply them. although we will likely have to wait to use them as they will be needed to install the wheels on the two cars.
if someone has a small jack that would be great, i dont trust those scissor jacks that come with cars. I've seen one fold under the car it came with once and I wont go under a car supported by one again unless there is a safety stand there. I dont have a jack or stands to bring along as both my jack and my safety stands are ancient and huge.

Nope those are Jay's. I think all my stuff is there, just trying to find my coils, which think they are in the box with my exhaust.

You guys need a 10mm or a small adjustable wrench to swap the parking light LEDs out. The passenger side is too tight if you don't take the ECU cover off.

Sure is, car is ready for pickup this Thursday, so tomorrow. They were prepping for paint yesterday. I think they painted today, or yesterday and letting it sit for awhile.
