Solo 1 in your 8? Where are you doing this?

Its been years, my track time lately has been on my bike. But if I could get race rubber...though my fun money is budgeted out this year...but I wouldn't mind wearing out the stock Dunlops...the 8 on a track would be cool...

...back to work.

 

There will be multiple venues like mosport DDT, Shannonville and Toronto motorsports park. Check www.soloontario.com and www.casc.on.ca, it will be fun and making the most out of the 8's handling ability

Thanks, I sure will represent, just went to a lapping day at shannonville today totally pumped for this year, the 8 handles like a dream on R compounds.

 

I'll be there with a completely stock 8 except for 17" Toyo RA1s. I've signed up for the May 13/14 school as well as the first 6 events. Did one Solo I event last year and some lapping days but other than that I'm a complete newb.

 

Cool, I'll be at the school too, what colour is your car? Mine is winning blue, I'll keep an eye out for another 8. I think I'm going to skip the mosport DDT events, don't really like that small little course, but I will be attending the rest of them.

Did an OMSC lapping day at the DDT on April 29 and saw a couple of RX-8s but they aren't doing SOLO. Configuration was really tight and they didn't even use the bottom part of the track in the morning. Wouldn't waste my time again.
