All-Mazda International Meet 2011 - Hosted By: www.6crew.com
Hello everybody,
Every year, 6crew.com hosts a "National" (US-hosted) and an "International" (Canadian-hosted) set of meets where Mazda6 members from all across North America get together to have a weekend full of fun. Well, this year is no exception and we are currently beginning to plan the 2011 International Meet. The biggest change for this year is that we will be opening the meet up to Mazda3, 5, 6, RX7, RX-8, Protege, B-series, etc. drivers with the hope to take this meet to the next level. In the past, we've consistently had between 30 and 50 CARS per meet, meaning upwards of 60-70 people in some cases when passengers/families are included in the head count.
Here it is!!!
The 2011 International Meet. It is Official..we have set the date on this meet to be held June 10th, 11th, 12th.
This meet will consist of not just Mazda 6's this year. we plan to take over Niagara Falls Canada and we plan on filling atleast one parking lot at a hotel of just mazda's. So make sure you show your support and you show we can take over this place!!!
The official location has been set as NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO, CANADA. Not only are the falls absolutely beautiful, there is an almost unimaginable number of things to do (clubs/bars, casino, haunted houses, amusement rides, restaurants galore, novelty shops, adult entertainment, movie theaters, animal kingdoms, museums [ripley's believe it or not, wax museum], bowling and other entertainment, etc.), which all happen to be within walking distance of the falls. For those that have been, it's a truly breathtaking experience and for those who haven't...well...why the heck haven't you been yet?!?!?!
Please let us know if you plan on attending. We need to know numbers for hotel booking purposes.
FYI, a round trip flight from Florida to Buffalo (about a 20 minute drive from Niagara Falls) is about $225-240 taxes + fees included. Other trips will likely cost something similar. Kevin and I will arrange for you to be picked up from the airport if you'd like to fly in for the meet. It'll be quite convenient and waaaaay less time consuming and expensive than driving half way across the country.

I did a little research and a flight from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ontario Int. Airport is about $495 (1 stop) and around 395 (2 stops) as quoted from travelocity.com. (theres a link below if you're interested) I'd love to attend, but im actually scheduled to work that weekend, and used up most of my vacation (thanks to my gf...) so I'll have to try to swing coverage or do a shift swap. I'll get back to you if i can find someone to switch shifts with.
Any idea on when the US-hosted meet will be? Just curious before i start spinning the gears.
(Edited due to the fact that the link is invalid if you dont do the search yourself. Have to re-enter all search info.)

the regular national meet we host is taking place in july out in Denver, CO. we have the locations for the Natiional meet jump around yearly to let more people get a chance to attend. and wild out together.
hopefully you can get someone to swap days with you. it'd be a great to have a great rotor showing at this meet.
definitely land in buffalo and grab a rental, cab to the telly, or coordinate with someone to scoop you up. IIRC the buffalo airport is about a Half hour to 45 minute ride from the border, so its not far.
i picked up someone from the airport for a meet up there before. just coordinate with someone no matter who it is.
just updated the Facebook event page with key contact for numbers for the event. one of which is me(Justin) for stateside, and the other is my boy dave on the canadian side. also added a caravan thread link to see if you have people leaving from the same area. safer to travel together than alone. damn...pictuce a line of mazdas rolling down the highway....WINNING!!!! haha.

the official coverage thread has been put up. the photos and videos are slowly being compiled. we had professional videographers and photographers as well for this event. it was an absolute blast. wish there was more participation from this site, but great turnout nonetheless.
