There was a dark blue and a grey 8 last nite at the beyond meet. couldn't tell if it was someone i saw at the meet from a couple weeks ago ...

To answer your question, I went once. The RX7 guys were very intrigued with the "new" rotary engine. Mostly, they were like "Where's the turbo? lol"

 

Seen a Titanium heading south on mcleod trail, turned off near Ranchmans, also seen a Titanium pulled over on at minit lube on mcleod trail.

and last but not least seen a black one heading north earlier in the evening! seen a few last night

I saw an 8 in the Grove last week that looked just like mine..

I stopped in at the 7-11 by the Tri-Leisure Center for a coffee with a buddy that car pools with me. He kept saying to me that he saw me in the Grove when I wasn't there. The car looked so much like mine (right down to the tinted side windows) I had to admit right then and there that he wasn't crazy.

There are meets in Edmonton?

saw someone with a Red R2 with bronze wheels (advan AZ i think) and CF hood on centre street yesterday. Looks pretty nice.

 

There is a red 8 with nice offsetting rims in airdrie and a white one to saw them both yesterday

 

Saw what I think was a Black Cherry Shinka in the Superstore parking lot in Shawnessy on August 3rd. Being the loving guy that I am, I wrote a note on my business card, and left it on your driverside window. Hope you got it and are either on here already, or will check it out eventually :P

 

We need to get this thread, and especially Calgary going again... I've seen at least 5 RX8s this week... Three driven by older women who were totally oblivious to the fact that another RX8 was right beside them, and then a TG on 14th st, heading north just before Glenmore, at 4:20pm on Friday, and another TG heading south on 37th st, going over fish creek park. I raced up behind you, and managed to sneak in behind you, but I don't think you noticed at all, and you turned off at 146th ave (heading to 22x).

 

There was a yellow one yesterday around 6pm on stony trail it was brutal......
it had stickers and vinyls all over it that didnt match the car at all it brought a tear to my eye
and agreed with spenser !

 

Just bought the Nordic Green 05 - 8 from Airdrie Dodge today. Steal of a deal on it as far as I'm concerned. Fairly factory but they did put some nice all weather's on it for winter and brake pads and some new plugs. Moves like stink I must say. Looking forward to a Calgary meet sometime in the near future! If you see me cruising around Airdrie feel free to give a wave.

Any other Nordic Greens in the Calgary (greater) area? I've yet to see one. Lotsa blues and red's but never seen another green.

 

Blue 8 on Monday Oct 3rd turned off Deerfoot Trail onto Memorial Dr (3:30 ish pm), played the traffic weave game with me until it took the off ramp into downtown. Driver wouldn't wave to me though. I was the Nordic Green trying to say hi.

On a side note I got a parking ticket, got towed to impound and then got a speeding ticket (10kms over on hwy 2 on the way back to airdrie) for a grand total of $210 bux. The apartment I parked at my friend tells me is perfectly ok to park at yet his building manager had me towed anyways. Sometimes I really hate downtown parking. :P

 

To someone's point: some people just don't know they're "in the club" and ignore you.

I gave a girl in a nice titanium grey the horns yesterday and she thought I wanted something else.

Changing the intake is fairly straightforward.
