8's in halifax

Hey, i'm just curious to how many 8 owners are from halifax. I'm from moncton, but came to halifax to visit relitives, so if anybody is interested about meeting up in the next couple of days, just give me a shout.

P.S. I'll be leaving back for moncton monday morning.

There are a few 8s in town, but I think I'm the only one who's even semi-active on the forum.

I was away all weekend out of Halifax however.

I'm still here

Hi Red.

I don't post much but i check in almost daily.
Been very quiet from Atlantic rx-8 owners.

I do see a few more around halifax-Dartmouth area now though.

If anyone can plan an event i'll attend.

Thanks

Good to see somebody else is still around.
My poor car has been getting neglected this season. Between house, girlfriend and racing/race car (in no particular order) my very limited time when I'm not working to pay for it all doesn't go far enough.

Only 4 of them that I am aware of, so VERY hard to find.
3 of the 4 of them are in Dartmouth. The other 1 came from the dealership in New Glasgow but is now in Saint John I believe.
1 of the 3 in Dartmouth is the automatic that was sold by Mills in Truro. It just got traded in on a Mazda 6 at Steele in Dartmouth.

Oh, as for being for sale, see my reply to your WTB post. (i.e. I am playing with the idea of selling mine. Basically, I sort of want to, and my girlfriend keeps getting mad and talking me out of it.)

Hey guys...

Just a note to pass along... we're gonna have a Mazda meet at Point Pleasant Park (a cruise afterwards to peggy's cove) at 1pm on Sept 30.

Sorry about the short notice, but I just found out about this site through my buddy mike (owns a '05 rx8..and he'll be there too).

The meet is open to all and any mazdas really, so we'll have some proteges, msp, mazda 3s, 6's, rx8's, 323, mx6, mx3's etc etc etc...

Hope to see you guys there and msg me if you have any questions.

Hey guys, nice to see there are some other 8 owners here in Atlantic Canada. I’m from New Glasgow, NS but I’m currently in university in Fredericton, NB. I drive a 2004 Black RX8 and have my 1993 MX6 for the winter car.

I won’t be able to make this weekend up in Halifax, but I hope to meet you guys sometime.

Does anyone know if there are any other 8’s in Fredericton? I haven’t seen one yet…

There is a black 8 and a white 2nd Gen 7 on Smythe Street (maybe it's yours) just above the SuperStore. I know of another one but the guy doesn't drive it much. I'll be there tonight in my Red 8.

I just noticed your 8 has navi. Does that work anywhere in the Maritimes? I have it in mine and it works great here in Boston but I don't get anything when I go to NB. I was wondering if that changed with the updated maps.

Nice pics! That was a fun day actually.
Especially nice of Will to highlight my "Clarkson" moment pulling out of the beach.

Slickest pavement I've ever seen in my life. Like glass.
