Anyways...thanks...I shift at 4.5k nowadays and only got 20km worse mileage...dunno if its 'cause of the tune ... I will try my 3.7k shift again and see how it goes...

 

I sent him an email... no response as yet, he may be out of town.

Can I get better gas mileage by tuning? If so im in

 

Sometimes. It depends on whether or not your current tune is even close to optimal.
Some people report gains and some lose MPG.

An RX-8 should get 320 - 370 km per tank. If you are already doing better than that, enjoy what you have.

We really should start a new thread for this.

I am willing to start the thread and help co-ordinate Jeff's return.
I might, maybe even do get some tuning if I get new stuff (turbo)..... assuming my car is still functioning ..... I have been plague with some ... general complaints from my ECU and from the Emissions Technician.

What is everyone willing to pay?
Last time I think we had around 14 ppl and at a cost of 200 each or something.

 

$200 is fine with me.

I'd volunteer to help out more but I'm in Ottawa Then again if you guys want to move it over to here I know it won't be a problem on my end :P

The only "if" on my end is making sure I get my BHR pipe before the dyno day which I'm pretty sure can be worked out.

 

I'd be interested, pretty much anywhere, Ontario, Quebec , Hell Michigan, Windsor . I was part of the last one in Toronto but I have since received a new engine and need to start over.
