*****Ottawa Mazda Meet 2004*****
When: May 15-16 weekend
May 15th, 2PM (feel free to show-up early): The meet starts with a show and shine at the Kanata Recreational Complex on May 15th at 2pm (Please SEE DIRECTIONS BELOW, to those who attended last year, the roads have been fixed).
**As usual, people are invited to drive down to my place afterwards for BBQ. Some of us willl also be hitting the streets that night to check out the local "scene" (if there is such a thing in Ottawa). People are free to crash at my place on Saturday night, if you cant afford a motel, PM or email me.
May 16th, 9AM: Everyone is invited to the Cumberland/Masson ferry at 9am for a huge cruise in Quebec through some of the nicest roads you'll ever see. We'll be doing the same route as last year, so it's not for the faint of heart (or weak stomachs).
As usual, maps to all the spots will be provided at the show and shine and cruise.

Take the 417 West and exit at TERRYFOX DRIVE (in Kanata)
Turn LEFT on TERRYFOX.
TURN RIGHT at the 4th lights at the CITY OF KANATA RECREATIONAL COMPLEX (big sign) across from Esso/Eastside Marios.
Take the 1st LEFT on RON MASLIN RD... go to the lot at the end of the road.

Directions to the ferry: Take the 417/174 east to Cumberland Village, turn left at the lights on Cameron, go to the end of the road. Meeting time is 8:45am (leaving at 9am).

Wow that's far, past orleans. Ok that's cool. Suppose to rain on Satuday

Neo, I'm hoping to get at least 2-3 S's but a few had other plans
If this was next weekend, we would have a BUNCH. We'll we will see. If I'm the only S so be it
I'll be at the show and shine as well mainly to take pics of the RX's.

That's cool. I know it's tough for people to get away and enjoy a nice drive. But we only do this once a year and it's become a tradition.
At least there will be some S2000's.. We'll be able to benchmark are cars against yours.... See the mistake you made in trading in the 8! LOL :D

Haha, if only I didn't have bald tires on the rear, I slide around like MAD, but it's fun none the less!
P.S. Mine is LOUDER when I hit 9 grand. Although it won't be much louder this week
I'm waiting for my exhaust to come in.
Next weekend I'm picking up a CAI, then the following week I'll get my new exhaust and you'll be able to hear me coming for MILES!
