Thanks for the compliments. Honestly I shouldn't have to do this but hearing about the owner's reputation has me slightly uncomfortable so I want to make sure you guys don't feel that way about me. I'm gonna make sure this **** is right before I let you guys see your wheels. FOR EXAMPLE, this happens at bodyshops nearly 100% of the time. You get your car painted and expect them to inspect it before calling you to pickup the car. Of course when you get there you see fish eyes, sediment, orange peel, etc.... This really pisses me off. I wish companies would be much more professional and take pride in their products.

OK latest update on the backorders.

I am told that the wheels leave the factory overseas in approx 2 weeks with all our 18" backorders. They should land at Forgestar mid April and hopefully get machined within 2-3 weeks. According to this schedule I would expect the wheels to start shipping out the first week of May.

And YES I AM PULLING MY HAIR OUT TRYING TO GET THESE ORDERS PUSHED THROUGH. Chinese New Year owned us for 3 weeks causing these delays.

Thanks,
Rishie

Alright so I checked out the first few sets which were complete and they all looked great. Actually those guys should have received them by now.

I know Angel got his today so we should be getting pics on a RX8 in Brushed Titanium F14 goodness pretty soon.

The wheels are sick, no doubt. And lightweight.

i'll get some pics uploaded. only took pics of brushed titanium.

How did I not see this post! Wow, so I may get these before I take my trip down to VA next weekend.....question is if I can get the time to get them mounted, fender rolled, and aligned before then.....but I will indeed take some pictures when it's all done.

Thanks for the update Rishie!

Sick sick sick. I have to see more of these on the 8's. It's just killing me.

I think within 4 weeks all the rest of the orders should be going out, so i'm told.

I'd really like to get a set of these wheels, but I'm not sure if I want to wait months or weeks to get them. I'm looking at oz ultraleggeras and work emotion wheels as an alternative right now.

I see these are alot more concave then the black ones. Whats the diameter/width and offset to get them too look this way?

I want 18x9.5 on all 4 corners and I don't mind having to roll my fenders but I would rather not change the camber. Tred life good Mmmkay!

^18x10

the concavity (is that a word?) is dependent on the width, not the offset.

Is there such a huge difference between the 18x9.5's of the 10's? I hope the black rims aren't what the 9.5's would look like cause I would like it with a bit more "concavity" (it's a word damit! )!

that i'm not certain of - i only knew that particular look (concave) was dependent on width - which was the reason why i went w/18x10.

it's only ~13mm's more and if you go with a high offset you won't necessarily change the center line by much - youwon't have to camber aggressively nor sacrifice tire life too.

Even if your dropped 1.5 - 1.7 inches? I have Tein S techs with Koni yellow shocks.

Just saw this thread, those are some pretty sick rims. Look better than RPF1s imo. Now I have to decide between these and RP03s...

yup.

You'd be surprised what our fenders can handle.

People have seen 18x10.5 w/265 tires. Trick was the offset. +43

Offset = life

yes, it's that important...

Alright guys,

I'll chime in here for a bit regarding these wheels. Rishie, I understand your hair pulling, as I'm with ModBargains.com and we retail these wheels as well.

We sell a ton of Forgestar wheels and we're actually displaying with them at this year's Bimmerfest in Pasadena. The reason for the delays was very simple: Forgestar NEVER anticipated selling so many wheels.

We specifically told the owner of Forgestar that this wheel was going to be revolutionary and for the price - they'll sell like hotcakes. Forgestar originally (just from us) anticipated about 5 to 8 sets per week. We're currently selling nearly 5-8 sets per day! Forgestar's original forecasting was a bit off, but how could anyone forecast a type of wheel that's never been on the market?

I saw Angel's car on the Forgestar blog and might I say - it look absolutely nuts!

These wheels are made with the same methods as Advan, BBS, and Enkei wheels. They're the world's first affordable flow form cast wheels on the market. The wait is a bit long, but you're getting a custom made wheel, available in different finishes, and they're extremely lightweight too!

Good job Rishie for getting these on some 8s!

I want to see more now! I'm waiting for my 18x10 setup as well. So even the vendors have to wait!
