For your diary: 2006 RX-8 Nationals - 3-4 October, Wakefield Park
OK, guys and gals...the date and venue have been set, so get them into your diary and start planning your leave.
The dates are the Tuesday and Wednesday after the October long weekend (in NSW/ACT...other states??), school holidays...and hopefully nice weather.
Again at Wakefield Park, near Goulburn NSW
Other details to follow as we get closer, and volunteers get coerced into the organising.
For ease of communication, we will be centralising discussion on this in the .com.au forum, where we can create sub-forums

Victorian please notice the subforum .com.au site
FOR VICTORIANS
Done
I am volunteering to coordinate the Victorian adventurers to the Wakefield Park. Details are to be organised but I have taken (and suggest people to take) the whole week off. I am keen to settle down start of the week before the track day(s) mid week.
It is labour day for NSW/ACT/SA, VIC has its labour day next month *(actually it is monday after the Sydney cruise
Wakefield is about 7 hours from Melbourne (that is non-stop). I promised to co-ordinate the **** stop better this year and have clear top and route to get out.
It is such an exciting circuit and it is not miles from Mazda support - please do not start reminding me what happened last year
Victoria organiser reporting SIR!
Sure

<me ceremoniously passes the badge of office (piece of roadkill) for NSW Nats Coordinator to Mikey.....and then runs like hell before he can pass it back>
In other words Mikey, as kids say when playing tag, "You're it!"
I'll more than likely sit out this year's Nats so it's better that an active participant coordinates the NSW troops.
Of course, happy to consult on any legal issues that arise or help out in other ways.
Have fun guys.
