I've been offered to change to Nordic Green from Winning Blue. The car is available for delivery very very soon. I will have a look at the car sometime this week, but I doubt that I will change to Nordic Green. Rather wait for few more weeks and get a better colour.:p

I am new on this forum but I am hoping to be the first to get my
RX8.

I went to the track day here in QLD at Willowbank and the car was awesome!

I have been told by my dealer that the car will be available from the 1st August

Winning, i would keep the blue if i were you. Obviously it's personal opinion but nordic green sux. After seeing it..i nearly asked for winning blue myself. It is my second choice to black.

 

I don't know about the rest of Australia, but ours is the first in Tassie!:D

 

Have attached Winning Blue from our drive day, apologise for the average shot I only took in to show how good the front of the car looks without accessories. But the colour is fantastic. cheers

 

I'm getting my blue RX-8 on the 28 July. It is actually arriving on 21st but I am getting them to hold it until my brother's red RX-8 arrives on the 28th.

We both got ours from Essendon Mazda.

My dealer keeps fobbing me off sying that the national release date is 1st August and that is as early as they can release it.

 

That's the thing the my dealer tells me. but friends has been telling me the had seen a blue and a yellow one on the road with proper registration!

As per my earlier post, my dealer is expecting a truckload of cars tomorrow for their official showroom release.

Still unclear as to if these cars are dedicated demo's or are they part of the pre-order batch....

Sounds like some dealers are better informed than others..

 

Th dealer just got in touch with me. The date he gave of the 21st was wrong. It seems it was the 28th. I thought it sounded too soon.

Dealer just called to confirm that I have my unit coming into the showroom this afternoon.

There are 3 vehicles ariving - 2 from the Willowbank driveday - and 1 preorder which happens to be mine.

He says I could drive it away by tomorrow afternoon if the pre-delivery procedure goes smoothly.

We haven't purchased ours yet as it is subject to a test drive - which we are arranging for this afternoon!

 

ENDLESS1112 Iam also waiting from my dealer to test drive the car before i commit myself to purchase . Keen to hear your opinions after you have driven it around the streets instead of a race track.
