trailer hitch

I spoke to Mazda today and they said that they are reviewing wether or not to get trailer hitches for our cars. They initialy said no as not to spoil the design of the car however now after much enquiry they seem to be pushing for it and/or a design to come through that compliments the car.

anyone ?

I so badly need to get my jet ski to the water. I cant even rent a car with a tow ball!!

Apparently Mazda in the UK do offer a towbar as an accessory - along with a huge list of other stuff.

Some guy on the European forum posted a very long thread with all the pictures from the accessories brochure. The towbar is on page 2 (takes forever to load).

Click for Accessories Pictures thread page 2

I did wonder briefly about it myself .... but went for the Timbo solution instead - i.e. bought a truck with a towbar instead. Or to be more accurate a Nissan X-Trail. Very happy with it too.

Kept the RX8 too of course...

Here's the picture:

For some unknown reason it reminded me of Lock & Load. Not sure why - did I read somewhere that he also has something that he needs to pull regularly???

(Sorry Michael, no offence meant, I just couldn't resist.... )
