Touch-up Paint

Touch-up Paint
I tried buying some touch up paint to apply to the bottom of the front air dam of my car but AMR claims they can only sell it to a certified repair shop. I can't be bothered messing around with that since there's only a very tiny gap I need to fill. Does anyone know where I can buy the official paint in Sunlight Silver?

Kasar, about a month ago i had my whole front resprayed (had a small accident) and i had to have paint protector reapplied cuz of that. Anyways enjoyed few weeks without any stone chip marks on the front nose.. went to Mazda got my paint protection reapplied, but by that stage (only 5 weeks later) already had some stone chips Mazda told me I could order Velocity Red touch up paint from Mazda Parts, and you really finely touch up the stone chips, dont need much at all. So just goto you local dealer and ask for it.

Well I called up AMR again, and they said they don't have any in stock "and no other dealership in NSW has it either". So I called up Tom Kerr in Ryde and they had some in stock. Went and picked it up on Saturday.

Is the touch up paint that you guys have genuine Mazda? The bottle I got from City Mazda is non-genuine and might as well be red.....so crap is the colour match on my Winning Blue.

The touch-up paint I got was genuine Mazda. It was $12.95 and matches the sunlight silver paint in my car almost perfectly. Metallic paint is generally harder to touchup since it has shiny bits inside but this stuff is reasonably good.
I had a chat to the guys at Tom Kerr and they said they'd be able to arrange mail order so you might want to try that way.

I have "genuine" Mazda VR touch up paint, which is pretty bad. I guess it's hard to match because of the mica, but this is a pretty poor attempt
