Just seen the commercial for "Top Gear" motoring show with Jeremy Clarkson and others....

Starts Monday night SBS at 7.30PM...free to air! Replaces 'Mythbusters'.

Does anyone know if its a weekly show...

Sat down to watch it last night with Danielle complaing she did not want to watch a car show. She ended up enjoying it as much as me.

I cannot believe channel 10 would pay to put that show Brainiac on with the thin guy from Top Gear but not buy the rights to Top Gear

that episode was classic with Pagani Zonda, Ford GT and Ferrari F430 touring in France..
especially when those 3 cars couldn't get out of the underground car park hahaha
and Clarkson is still going on about Hammond having his teeth done in the latest ep.

 

I saw the bit where they were trying to get the 3 supercars out of the parking structure. I was in tears

I am just so happy I can sit down on Monday nights and watch the whole episodes. It has better production values and camera work than most big Hollywood movies!

 

Miss 6 and I enjoyed the show...

I liked the "Looks like a gun platform for a ganster" comment... That 300C is SOOOOOO Ugly....

The Finance Director joined us about half way through... We will be there next week, but we still miss the Mythbusters...

This weeks episode in the UK. I downloaded the wrong one yesterday

 

Who has seen the Clarkson's Nurburgring drive last night on Top Gear.

It is so good even I have seen it dozens of times.

What a great story what a production.

For people who have missed it. Im preparing a clip to share - but my upload is slow... it will be up later today.

 

What an awesome track, how much fun would it be fanging around there for the day (cept without all that traffic)?

Which once was it Taka? We are up to date on TG and think he's been at least twice. In the Jag was a good one.

Can't remember if that the one when the local chick gets out and nails him in a van!

 

It's the Jag one. She doesn't nail him in the van (oh my ), she says she can drive as fast as him in the van. She takes the Jag out and beats him by over half a minute.

How dog ugly is that Morgan thing?

 

Sabine went to have a crack on the Nurburgring with a Ford Transit Van too! She did it in 10:08.

She passed a guy in Porsche and a few bikes too!

I also think the DB9 episode is classic.

I have all Series 5-7 (Autumn 2004 to Autumn 2005) and some older episodes too. The UK people started to record it digitally since last year and there are a lot of good episodes out in the BT world.

Still uploading my clip 2 hours 22 minutes to go.

 

Imagine trying to concentrate on that course while having all those bikes and porsches buzzing around you.

 

How would you feel thinking your going pretty quick in your Porsche and some young lady screems past you in her Ford Transit Van. That's a story you would not tell your friends.

Great to watch though!
