Terrible Weekend

Friday the hymee & the whitelines came off.

Saturday it was the RP shifter and some other trinkets.

It's back to stock .... and up for sale!

And it feels naked!

Hoping I get enough to enable a fast repurchase when we land in Sydney but I fear it might be a wee while before i'm rotating again. Spent too much on a bloody house we haven't even seen yet! (bought over the net...isn't technology fun!)

Sure is ugly selling a genuine NZ delivered car when the Jap imports are selling for NZ$28k-35k....not a typo!

Oh well..spose it's all good in some strange cosmic way.

<Sensing there is some money to be made from a friend's loss>

Mine is available for $200 a day once you get here Mike!

Just kidding - here's hoping you get a decent price and are back in the saddle again soon.

I still don't understand why you don't just keep pulling more parts off it and bring the whole lot over here piece by piece... What is the big difference between the NZ edition and the OZ edition anyway??

Ezzy,

Exchanged a couple of PMs with Paul and he thought I'd probably have problems down the track in terms of resale. Also the tax calc may be a killer. Customs new rules mean your car is valued at "original purchase price", although there is a "valuation" loophole. The former makes it dumb to do the later might work out.

No completely off the table. Am going to check into it a bit further. Need to check insurance as well.

Cheers guys

Mike

Typical taking the whole thing downmarket......for your information you use the mint sauce as aftershave and mint jelly as the lubricant
