Strange gifts for christmas

Yesterday left me a little stunned and also reminded me that you should actually listen very carefully before you let the odd "yes dear" slip out ... This guy arrived a few days early.

So let's share strange gifts, past or present Christmas

Damn right about that Hymee! The shot I took is deceptive, it's almost 4 foot tall - we're calling him "Big Bob". (No L&L not "big dong").

It reminds me of a sort of Japanese version of our esteemed ex PM, Malcolm Fraser.

I can almost hear it saying "Rife wasn't meant to be easy...."

It does have a definite Mazda hairdo though - that flying M style is instantly recognisable.

So for an attention getting bonnet ornament just remove the chrome M and replace - like so.....

Nice try. Love those strakes BTW. Is that your ride?

Cheers,
Hymee.

Surely, Hymee, BVD has chosen a foreign photo (orange front trafficators - the 1940s word fo turning lights I love to squeeze in wherever possible) upon which to attach Kev's appendage. It is at least a Kevcolour, cos BVD is of the L&L persuasion regarding hue.

Yuletide Greetings all: we depart for Melbourne tomorrow, and during the journey and return hope to see my first other 8 on the road. It would be nice if it is one of us.

As Jax8 says, mine's yellow (as seen in the recent Licence plate thread...). I don't know where that image came from - it was just one of many that I downloaded a couple of months ago when I was thinking of buying an RX8. Apologies to the image owner. I just chose it because it was facing approximately the right way for Kev's priapic ornament....

I actually made it with plain old "Paint" - the basic program that comes in Win98. After your PSP suggestion I checked my hard drive and I've got an evaluation copy of PSP7 that I downloaded ages ago. Must install it sometime.

Hi Kev,

I just returned the favour and showed "Big Bob" to my wife, and she thought he was wonderful. She says that your wife has great taste. Dammit, I think SHE wants one now....

REVENGE!!!

I just purchased a bar-b-que for my wife for Christmas - that'll either balance the books or put me permanently in the dog house for the holidays ...
