Question Seat Covers

Has anyone in Australia purchased seatcovers? Most cars a few years old, regardless of whether they have leather or cloth interiors tend to look a bit worn and shabby. Mazda USA makes seatcovers but these are not available in Australia. Cost of importing from Rosenthal Mazda is $360 (including shipping costs of $US140!). Still I'm tempted. Does anyone have another option?

I appreciate you just want to protect your car but I couldn't imagine fitting seat covers.

One of the things I liked about the L/P was the look of the seats. I think the rotor cut-out is integral to the car's interior appearance.

I could understand fitting them from time to time when you know the seats are gunna get dirty (a bit like some of the guys use car bras when on a long trip) but I prefer to take extra care of the leather instead of covering it up.

Just MHO.

Good luck finding what you're after.

dont think it'd affect the side airbag. the ones i have doesnt fully cover the side and back, and its quite lose at the side edges. it is used mainly to protect the front of the seats

some seat covers you need to strap it at the back, then i'd say that will affect the air bags.

You'll nead seat covers for the back if you transport 2 dogs everywhere. Leather seems pretty tough however sometimes after their excercise their nails tend to be a bit sharp if they have been running around on concrete.

When I have some time I may just design some covers for the back seats that can be quickly removed/installed.

*puts on his propeller hat and starts planning...* :D
