for sale: lowered springs, front bar & airbox in bris
hey guys,
got a few parts laying around my garage that i need to get rid of and scrape up some extra cash...
basically i'm selling a full set of lowered king springs to suit an rx8, they are used, were in the car for about 3 months then decided to go lower... asking $200 ono for them...
next item is a standard rx8 air box and induction pipe with air filter, asking $200ono
final item is my standard black mazda rx8 front bar, complete with fog lights and metal rotary crest... they paint is a bit stone chipped etc. (it is second hand) would be perfect with a respray but would do for someone fixing a car on the cheap as is... the bar is not damaged and has not been repaired in any way what so ever... a genuine item.. asking $200 ono

How much did it cost to have the springs fitted the first time ? and who in Brizzie did the job ?

XLR83N... shipping on bar will be around $45 or so bud! i went and took pics on my phone today, first on is out of focus tho, the white is reflection of the lights on the roof... its in good condition, was only removed to fit mazdaspeed kit,, has fog lamps and working and complete headlight washers!!

jambos mate, the springs were fitted by my mate brendan who worked for oldmac mazda in cleveland at the time... it was after hours and he doesnt work there anymore... they were removed and refitted new springs by another mate who is a subaru mechanic and at his workshop one night... both times i just bought the guys a 6 pack for helping me out.. (good to have mates) so i'm not sure how much they would slug you to fit them... but if u have access to a workshop, hoist, some spring tensioners and basic tools its not that hard of a job...
