Smile Rx8 Wanted

Whiteline/Redranger

We currently require the services of a 05 onwards RX8 vehicle to do some fitups of swaybars springs etc for our research and development department. In return leaving these products on the vehicle for the services of their car.We will need the vehicle up to approx 1 week and would greatly appreciate it if anyone is interested.

Cheers, Dave

We are currently located at Somersby on the Central coast of NSW
so someone from around this area would suit us down to a tee if they didn't mind going without there vehicle for a short time.

The reasoning for us trying to aquire a vehicle is we became aware of a manufacturing change with the rear swaybar D rubber bush being changed in design from 01/05 onwards so we thought we would use this opportunity to check the products we previously manafactured for the RX8 still havn't changed.

Cheers, Dave

Just a side query to Mr Whiteline:

I have the Whiteline sways fitted to my '04 (too old for your present purposes) together with MS springs and shocks. I'm hearing the odd strange noise from the rear suspension area and want to get it properly checked out (as we all know, dealer service inspections are hopeless).

Can you recommend a good suspension specialist on the north side of Sydney please?

Don't take this personally Dave, but if anyone asked me for the use of my $40K motor car I would want an iron clad guarantee if anything went wrong I would be adequately compensated.

There are issues surrounding insurance, vehicle security and storage, who would have access, who would be driving it, etc.

Call me a cynic but I would urge caution .............but thats my personal view.

This sort of thing goes on from time to time Trev and I'm yet to hear of anyone having a problem. Most people trying to develop parts take good care of their testbed cars from what I hear. Think about it - the last thing they want is for the owner to come on here and badmouth them - not good for business.

It's one of those things - if you want the benefit, you need to take a mild risk. Provided you exercise some common sense, I doubt you'd have a problem.
