See a Red 8 almost twice everyday, morning and night, west bound on Toorak Rd. Saw you flash your lights today but I didn't respond quick enough. See you tomorrow...

Greetings All,

Who said Yellow RX-8s were rare ? I have just seen my 2nd in three days !!

This one was parked on Botany Road Alexandria near the Harris Technology Shop at 1pm today - it has NSW premium plates AQT ??? and non standard (nearly) black wheels and a front air dam/spoiler from what I can remember.

Have a good weekend everyone,
Regards
Jeffneil

Choppy I did ask for the 5% member discount which worked out to be about $10 I ordered touch up paint total cost about $250... One thing which I didn't spot and therefore didn't ask on the day was that the oil on the invoice says Castrol Magnatec? Have they used the wrong oil? they should know better than that right? What does you have on it Choppy?

I was in Adelaide last weekend but I saw 2 winning blue in a space of 2 hours. Actually there were 3 sightings.

One blue near Ruddle Mall with a euro rear lip or like the R Magic one. Then see it again when I going to the airport in a taxi

One blue with a rear rotary crest in Autobarn on the Sir Donald's.

A lot of sighting in Adelaide's Sunday afternoon!

Winning Blue day on Gold Coast

I was down at Movie World to see some bods from Warner Village Theme Parks on business today and saw two Winning Blue RX-8's in short succession (yes it wasn't the same car as one had wing and the other didn't). One was on the Pacific highway heading south and the other was just was just pottering around near the shops just by Movie World.

Damn I really want my Winning Blue RX-8 now.

A little latter heading back to Brisbane clocked a Yellow RX-8 heading south on Pacific highway.

phamda,

Thats the right oil... I had many discussions with the service manager about the Oil..

So never fear from the Rockdale Service Department as the man in charge knows his stuff and keeps up to date.

Phillip how is the G flash?

phamda where abouts you work i live 2 mins away,

Regards
Phillip

When you did the service they hook it up to their computer and upgrade you from the f flash to the G flash

My car feels different idles better and alittle better on petrol AND goes better through the rev range i believe.

Greetings All,

at 8am this morning I was driving into the City (Sydney) in our blue RX-8 when I spotted a Titanium Grey stopped at the lights heading south on the Princes Hwy and Presidents Road intersection. I waved but I was turning the corner so I don't know if the driver saw me.

Anyone here out for an early morning drive ?

Regards
Jeffneil

What was RichardM doing all the way down there?. That is a long way from where the "real" RichardM lives. :p

https://www.rx8club.com/members/richardm-7981/

But his Silver VXII SS with blacked out wheels does stand out!

Cheers,
Hymee.

Greetings All,

Perhaps Choppy you mean 'ROGERM' - he lives in the Sutherland Shire and drives a black RX-8. He's the guy I work near. Not here today - probably out driving his 8 !

Lotsa 8s in Toorak Rd this week

Which reminds me -- spend most of the week at our office in Melbourne, at Sth Yarra, and I seemed to see an 8 every time I walked out onto Toorak Rd.

A Silver with SILVA no. plates
A black
2 reds
And a Winning Blue with rear crest and tinted windows in the basement carpark of our building

I've been in Melbourne all week, and will be back next.

Wednesday morning I saw about 4 RX8s.

There was a black one with a rotary crest, at the corner of Batman and Swan. It had a number plate reflecting a low form of humour.

Then I saw a yellow one on Doncaster Rd parked in the Saab Dealership in Doncaster.

Another black one further up Doncaster Rd, and then a Blue one travelling south down Springvale Rd.

(yes, I did drive from Southbank, to Doncaster, and then to Dandenong on Wednesday morning. A very long and painful trip in peak hour traffic)

I won't make Chadstone, as I am in the Qantas club at the moment waiting for my flight. I am back in the city of craven slow drivers again next week. I will be working at wherever HP host their unix server outsourcing service. It will be good to get back into the 8 again, after having to put up with the Holden Astra hire car for a week. The thing has no brakes.
