Repositioning off oil cooler ?
I have fallen in love with the driving lights on the Lexus IS 200 , they seem to fit right in to the rx8s driving light area , however the oil cooler would have to be moved to another location , were the would be no interference with air flow , and also there iis not enough depth on the oil coolers side .
Iwould keep the original drvers light and add the LEXUS LIGHTS AS WELL .
Any ideas were i could put the oil cooler most welcome???

hmm.. pretty drastic - you must ruuuullly love those lights!
but never let it be said that the love a light isn't worth fighting for!
I would have thought moving the oil cooler would:
1) void the **** out of any warranties from Mazda
2) require pretty drastic reshaping of parts of the front end / engine bay
3) be risking some rather costly engine damage if you get it wrong and cook the motor?
Wouldn't that see you with six up on the front end lights?
Or are you talking "replace" the standard RX8 fog's [ you do have the fogs with the leather pack right? or is this where the light goes on in my head ( pun intended ) ? ].

I should add that I was a hand swipe of the old AMEX away from buying a Lexus IS 300 once..
But I stopped them and said I'd think about it - actually, sleep on it I said..
And when I woke up in the morning, drove to work in my dear old Honda Civic GLi two door at the time, I realised that I was having more fun driving the old bomb and that the IS300 seemed horribly under powered for the price.
Mind you it was I guess a pretty cheap car..
Oh, and it's basically a Toyota right.

ps: add to that the fact that every 2nd f*cker in Mosman bought them that same weekend it seemed and the place was litterally filty with the things! That turned me off Mercs, Porche, BMW's, Lexus, Audi's and bloody Volvo's all around!

When we got the Mazda 6 we felt we got a car that looked as good/better, went quicker, had as much gizmo's and cost half as much as the IS300.
L&L - The Yukuzza really messed with your brains. Fancy putting Toyota crap on a nice clean car like the '8 !!
I'll have to halve you post count! Hehehehe.
Cheers,
Hymee.
