You're probably right but I have been steadfastly looking the other way and avoiding asking any more questions since I test-drove the RotorMaster S/C car. ;)

Oh, what the hell. :suspect: :wink2: :D: Who, in your opinion, is selling, installing and tuning a turbo setup for the RX8 in Sydney of equivalent quality to the product offered by Mazfix?

Rotary specialists Yes... I have heard of heaps... They all know about the rx7 and 13b engines but not about the Renisis. The way it receives its oil and petrol differ greatly.. I have actually spoken to 2 "rotary specialists" in sydney and they said you will never get the renesis going as good as a 13b. They actually suggested an engine change...

I bought an RX8 and thats what I will work with..

We (Archie & the Mazfix boys)are currently working on a race cooling system for my car and (more power of course). The car has been an absolute darling with the exception of heating up when driving at full boost at eastern creek for 15-20mins at a time. I couldn't help myself. God I luv that track...

over and out

Precisely Dave. Why go back to the future. If I wanted to run a pre-Renesis rotary, I'd sell the RX8 and buy an FD. The logistics and expense of an engine swap into the RX8 (and all that goes with it) just doesn't bear thinking about, even if you could make it legal and get it insured.

That was why I posed the question I did, to deafening silence thus far.

RotorMaster aside, I'm yet to hear of a Sydney-based shop that is offering a tried and tested, professional FI option for the RX8. Can anyone prove me wrong?
