It was great to catch up with old friends from the first Nats and make new ones at this years. I am amazed at how such a varied group can get along so well.

I had a great time both on and the track. Thanks to all the organisers and instructors they did a great job, especially Len and Don who ran the track events lioke clockwork. Len, now that I know you only drink white wine I'll make sure to procure some for next year.

I had a ball on the track playing with the auto paddles and redlining the beast for the first time and manage to improve on last years time by 4 seconds.

Hope to see you all again next year.

Cheers
Vic

Just shows you its not how you drive its what you drive !!!!!
Good on ya Archie !!! Thankyou MAZFIX !!!

Sorry if I pissed anyone off for using high boost...... I had too....there was no other way of beating Rods time!!!!!
Also, Roxy8, another good driver... I'm sure it will be on next year when he turns up turbo'd, or should I say Mazfixed!!

Anyway, I promise to practice the rest of this year and hopefully let my driving do the talking for me next Nats.....!!

I won't complain about the boost, ***** ,mods or skills....................................however I think the sight of your pit crew Dad was definately your unfair advantage!!!!!!! What a great team the two of you made. Just to make it a little more challenging next year I vote that he has to do the laps in the car with you.
Cheers (with no lemons)

What was there to get pissed off about?

It was fun watching you get all excited. Or was it scared?

You were like a little kid in a candy shop.

We are not concerned about you at next years Nats. Watch out for dad in the turbocharged automatic.

BTW, did you get that tat?

Greg

Please Dave, don't take my comments too seriously.

Jormie has it right - was fantastic to see the Ti beast going off and you've got more cojones than me to get out there in that thing.

We're all looking forward to the 12lb boost tatt at next year's event!

Hey all -
Got home from my trip to your country a couple of days ago, and still am trying to adjust back to american time (note what time I'm writing this).

Had an absolute blast hanging with y'all on Sunday, it was one of the major highlights of my trip. The ride in the turbo'd Mazfix was incredible, especially considering there were 3 adults in the car. Quite unbelievable, the torque difference.

Let me know if you find yourself in Alabama, as I'd like to return the favor, but we will skip the vegimite sandwich -- that stuff is just plain nasty!

Good to meet you, eightr. Yes, those turbo cars were a blast...but I don't understand your comment about Vegemite Very tasty, and lubricates wheel bearings as well

Hey rxeightr,

Great to meet you too mate. Sorry the weather wasn't exactly show 'n shine material but glad you enjoyed it anyways.

As for vegie, look on the bright side, you won't ever encounter it in the US.

Rxeightr.

Good to hear you arrived safe and sound back in Alabama , the reason they dont have Vegemite in the US is because under the new anti terrorist prohibition laws Bush has it listed as a toxic sustance .

Looking good there Will.

Any shots of the Revolver-mobile? Would be grateful if you could post them up for me. I never got a chance to drop into the photo office.
