I've finally got around to install the new gear shift ****..
it's from Nardi Torino which I think suits well with Mazda given their long relationship..
thought u guys might wanted to see the pic.

had problem with the plastic bit inside which I subsidised with a little bit of hose which u can get from the hardware store..

I am being tempted to change the gear shift boot also to match the redness of the interior

gear shift from 1st to 2nd is a breeze now with a bigger head.
maybe because i found it more notchy after I replaced to RP short shifter with the stock ****..

 

Nice red stick... is that why you are tempted with a red gear boot?

I think red with red stitches will not as stand out as if you get red with black stitches. Not sure Both are nice choices.

It is a penectomy specimen containing the tumour. :p

(Hint: Appendectomy - Append = Appendix + ectomy = removal; Penectomy - Pen = Prefix for *****....+ ectomy =......... :p)

It is very straight forward and PoLak has a thread in the DIY section.

Get yourself a sharp cutter though, the tab may not match. Well for mine anyway.
