could've told you that... you'd hear so many stories about that...
it all depends on the "loading" they setup on

AutoSalon dyno me on 149hp@ 170kph
111kw@ 170kph

and they set 4 cylinders.

could anyone tell me if that is right or not?

According to the autosalon dyno, that is right! LOL

You went from 142kW to 111kW? Different dynos/different days give different readings, but that is quite a difference.

5kW for the headers / exhaust then?

Cheers,
Hymee.

thanks Hymee.

yeah! its really a big different. but as you say different dyno different day.

but its just hard to believe that 177KW on the engine from MAZDA and dyno out is only 111KW on the wheels.

That is what i think tho.
because even my frined's DC5 put out 124KW. at autosalon.

so...........

let me know what you think. thanks.

Dyno is just a curve with numbers... not spending too much hard ache on it. Find one dyno and using the same one in similar condition. Even different day you can get 10kW either way.

once again... you can not use the autosalon dyno figure as your baseline.
go find a reputable dyno place and use that on similar conditions (weather/temp).
remember a few years back, one of my mates just got his "monster" setup done on his brap brap brap rx2, got onto those dyno and we were able to "play" with the loading setup to get a more respectable figure... so it tells you how legit those numbers are
