Photos From Sydney Drive

Not a bad turnout overall.
Good to finally put some faces to names.
Took 25 photos and the following are the best.
Poor lighting didn't help unfortunately.
Enjoy!

P.S. I went home early.... the other guys are still out and about.

The initial turnout figures (to the best of my recollection) were as follows:

4* Blue
4* Red
1* Silver
1* Green
1* Yellow
2* Black

Total = 13

No Titanium or Stratos Blue unfortunately.

Was good to see so many Rx-8s during my fleeting visit (late black arrival, dropped off to work just after airport tunnel).
Just as well - on the way home oil light ON! Nearly shat myself. Only checked the level 2 weeks ago.

Till next time!

Sorry about the crap photo quality.
Goes to show that even if you buy the top of the range equipment and don't know how to use it, it doesn't mean jack.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who turned out, got to admit, turning up early, and just seeing the xenons / hearing the fine zhinging rotors light and sound the way as they rocked up for the meet was sweet.

Pity no titanium silvers though. But there were just as many "Phil's" in the crowd as there were red and blues. :D

Sweet night, and got to say cruising and taking up all 3 lanes is greedy, but I cant complain. :D

Thanks all,

PS. Choppy I now c, how you get to George street in 7 mins. :D

A great night had by all. Lots of double-takes by people travelling in the other direction - particularly when we had a 3 x 2 formation on the way home.

Looking forward to a weekend run down the Old Pacific Highway - or better still, Putty Road.

Cheers and thanks to Daz for organising.

Yes Yes.... I cant complain, stopping at the servo brought out a petrol re-fill, a good photo opportunity, and these 3 girls to come over and get all happy and get over any differences we had. :D

Ohh by the way..

Whoever i met last night you can now become validated members in the RX8CLUB AUSTRALIA FORUM www.rx8club.com.au (Sponsored by Hymee Enhanced) so you can speak about anything you want under a safe and secure forum that only validated members can view.

Why this is a good thing you ask???

Well if you are up to something naughty that you dont want Mazda or Police to find out about then this is the place you can discuss it.

Please PM me your Nic Name on the rx8club.com.au forum through this forum or the rx8club AU forum in order to validate you all. Or you can request it in this thread also i guess if thats o.k by the MOD.

Once validated you have access to an extra 3 areas of the forums for discussions etc.

Once again it was great meeting everyone and hope more pictures come to the surfice real soon

Regards
Phillip

Yeah more pictures to be uploaded people...

I got some video footage on my phone, which I will try and upload (you'll need apple quicktime to view), I will keep updates posted.

Secondly snoo's right... a day time drive would be good, but people you still have to admit theres something sexy and sharp about a night time meet, the xenoins exhausts and metallic colours...... pretty sweet.
