In fact, they did this with the aid of a sCANalyser :D !! (I was told by someone closely involved in the project).

Chip Torque knows nothing of the Scanalyser but will soon as you know I bought one from you.

I didn't say Chip Torque used the sCANalyser.

Jon Waterhouse from Reliance Automotive Services (Canberra) told me they used it on the Mazda turbo project, as they worked closely with Alan Horsely in the development of the project.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Finally got the mufflers in ....Bout time .These are magnaflow jobs capable of withstanding the immense heat created by rotary engines...let alone turbo rotary engines...the stock exhaust is top quality /with stainless internals ..Magnaflows are packed with a special volcanic material as well as stainless packing for longevety and a raspy throaty note...No other exhaust I researched has these attributes.

Eric, I'm with you mate, I could call myself "Brad" but that ain't giong to make Jennifer pick up the call! :D :D :D :D Looks more like "angel of death" to me! I presume it's designed for show and not cornering????

So Dave you reckon we are going to see your beast at Wakefield? It's going to the Hatfield's and The McCoys with the Turbo / SC showdown?? Lets hope we can all still afford petrol in a months time!

relax re.....
i think its a great marketing strategy.... by calling a "in-ya-face" supercharger setup stealth will get ppl to remember it!
most ppl will remember your stuff if you call your product something funny/weird/unsual/stupid
i did exactly the same 3 years ago with one of my widebody kits...... i called it "phat-boy" kit....... :D

https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...id=60048&stc=1

We were happy we could run 2.5 in stainless throughout...and we are also very happy with the way the bends are smooth and flowing helping the turbo do its thing

There is also a picture of the modified sump...It'll do for the time being..I am currently designing a larger capacity sump...Stuff paying $750.00 for the Greddy

Wow, this is coming along so fast...its amazing.

I guess the challenging part is the tuning so it will be interesting to see how that pans out. Good luck!!!

Thanks heaps for that We really want to get the car to the Nats...
With the management , Im as nervous as hell...Its sorta out of my league :o

We are sort of lucky that Mazda Aust ..Spent all the money on R&D..The Ceo of ChipTorque has assured me we SHOULDNT have any issues,,even though our kit has a few lil tricks up its sleve and is quite different from the Maz Aust. kit

how is that ram air? the air has to pass through the intercooler. it's between the hot aircon radiator and a hot intercooler. are you leaving the bottom tray off?

Youre joking Right!!!!????

Lesson !. Intercoolers have hot air comming in and cool air going out !! Guess which side the air pick up is ...... The cold side ..When you see my car ( or any turbo car) feel the entry point ( warm ) and the exit point (Cold)

Lesson 2. RAM air is pressurised air from the front of the car .... The air pickup is behind a no restrictive intercooler ..We've tested different intercoolers ,and this one flows the air through to the air pickup as if it was poking out there alone .

Its a much better design than having it in a ( up to )60 degree engine bay

There is an air con condensor about six inches away from the filter And after it a Radiator.!

When in motion the pressurised air wil feed RAM air to the filter ,and the flowing hot air from the radiator will be going in the opposite direction ..In the engine bay ...where most other kits get their air :o

we will monitor the air intake temps anyway ....If worse comes to worse we can put a heat protective shroud behind the Air Pickup...Dyno Day Is next tuesday

All will be revieled ........and displayed honestly .

having said all that we are even exploring the use of water injection /and / or additional water cooling if required.

I am so hoping for 300RWBHP. My research has been soooo extensive and I hope I wont let myself down.

Smile LOTS :D

Dave
