Julia, nice vid.
In the video, just before the last right hand corner there is a off camber left! Do you find if you come wide (and not turn in early) that the sudden oversteer would not have come?
Just a thought, coz I saw the other car does that....
Good drive

I think I know the corner you are talking about.. and yes I take that line to control the car...with a CIG locked diff it can be a handful... It seems that some of the cars are more twitchy than mine but mostly I follow the lines Bruce taught me as he has a lot more racing experience than I do. My best laps we didn't get as the camera was charging but me and another guy got away with pure racing for 8 laps it was awesome....

It was a good day....so many guys got a shock at how quick I was....I overheard a driver of a 350Z talking about my times...he said it's an old Alfa driven by a chick and she's only 2 seconds slower than me...I butted in and asked him did he have full acelerator travel...couldn't help myself!!!

I will try and get over in Oct....but I warn you I take no prisoners in that car...I don;t have to drive it to work...I am nearly outgrowing the circuit sprint crew...Bruce wants to build me a car to race in 08 as I am too aggressive!!!

I don't call you the SA Trackstar for nothing Julia. Awesome stuff. Very quick to catch the oversteer too.
As for the squeaking sound, I just assumed you'd recruited a spider monkey on speed to hold the camera.
Here's an offer you can't refuse - make it to the Nationals this year (wherever they're going to be held) and I'll put my car at your disposal if you can't (or don't want to) track yours. I have absolute confidence in you.

I will try and make the national meeting.....I will bring Max too..how about we both go out together I promise to be courteous!! But I would love a go in one that has the suspension improvments!
Yes the oversteer was interesting...I got faster and faster over the top of that corner, it would have been very messy if I had lost it totally.....Bruce saw the video and told me off and then hugged me and told me I was ready to race. I sat there beaming like a little kid all afternoon!!
The squeaking yes well that's a good suggestion for what it is.....will have to fix that before the next vid I post. Although we have some earlier footage from Mallala with me bashing up a guy in a Fiat which is funny too..no squeak there so I think I am wearing the car out!!

Many thanks.....yes logistics is something I am intermittantly good/bad at. It;s a very gracious offer.....
Oh well I am off to burn some more fuel in the oppressive heat of an Adelaide day....
