Nissans 370 Z Breaks cover

What do you guys think of the new 370 Z ?

The interior is a vast improvement on the 350 Z and the RX8 .

but i must admit the Upcoming retractable roofed BMW Z4 also looks tempting hmmm decision time once again

that's so funny the resemblance is striking.

doesn't strike me a a nice looking car. looks the same as the old one. if they are going to change the name they might as well do something new.

Looks like a nice enough car if a 2 setter with no room is all you need.

Then again if that is all you need the that opens up other possibilities as well.

I havent had rear passengers for yonks , so a two seater is being considered , the 370 Z has 254 kw with 365 nm 0-100 in 5.2 sec easily modded to with plenty of aftermarket parts .

Heres a pic of the 370Z convertible but i think i preffer the coupe .apparently it will only come with a soft top .

Pricing should be around $65-75,000, With car values dropping like 70% in a 3 year period its not the time too spend big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

IMHO it does look better than the last, but I think it's just another take on a Japanese sports car. Why, after all these years, is the front overhang so big? If you only need two seats, then it's a possibility. Certainly if the price is in the $65-$70k range it offers much better value than the Audi coupe, and is arguably a much better car.

The outgoing 350Z is a pretty good car too, so why has it never sold like the RX-8? From my observations on my daily commute, I always see a minimum of 5-6 RX-8's per day, and rarely the same ones. In contrast, I would see about 2 350Z's a week. Certainly, the RX-8 is cheaper, but maybe there's other things in play. Perhaps having 4 seats is an attraction; certainly we carry passengers in the back on an irregular basis, and the back seat passengers never complain about being cramped. Perhaps those idiots at Mazda might understand something about the market, after all?

Sorry - it still reminds me of a dog with a fat **** squatting to take a crap, except now it's squinting as well. Must have had the chilli goodo rings...

Love the Cars comparison shots - very perceptive.

Jokes and subjective things like appearance aside though, a good two seater for the money...if you want a two seater...

BTW, I also tend to see more 8's than 350Z's, but perhaps you notice your own car more...

And I've only seen late middle-aged shortish men driving the convertible...ahem, compensating for something methinks...

Way, back...I had the hots for the 350Z, 'till I got into one and drove it. That's what sent me to the 8.

This time...well, the shape looks good and the interior is so much better. But what's with the fugly head and taillights?! Why do Japanese designers always seem to do this-- they have a classic shape, then they screw it up with tizzy detail

Perhaps it's different in Bakersfield, but we denizens of Brisneyland are known for our dash, style and panache. Hence the preponderance of 8's (and bullshit).

I don't like how it looks at all. I think it actually looks worse than the 350Z which I've gotten to dislike more the more I see of them, and I see them every few seconds on the road it seems. also if the 370 is going to be ~$70,000.... why in god's name would you not get a GTR instead? You know, the Nissan that isn't a pile of crap...

In australian dollars, the GT-R costs quite a bit more than 70,000 USD.
