New RX member to the family.
Just purchased a new RX for the weekend fun car.
Its an 01 RX-7 better known as the "series-8" version.
Has 50k km & it the Type-RB spec.
Now the series-7 is gone & I can feel "at home" in the last of the breed, the colour is called "Innocent Blue".
Have the M6 wagon for the family car, the Van for the company car & now the RX-7 for the weekend cruiser
Thanks to dmrh for the pic hosting too.

Congrats Daz - looks fab.
BTW, I was buzzing around the central coast on the weekend with 'er indoors and saw a whole bunch of rotors parked in the Skillion carpark at Terrigal.
I cruised past to see if I recognised anyone but drew a blank. Saw one red RX8 there with chrome rims. Anyone we know?
Anybody aware who these chaps were? Some nice cars amongst them.
Mine was filthy dirty at the time from all the rain on the weekend. Felt like the ugly sister among the cruise cars there.

Go Daz
You lucky bastard, great to see you again have a fun car for the weekends, who needs to pay off the house/kids education/hail damage panel beating anyway. Checking out the photo I can't see if the car has back seats for the baby seat
Have fun

While the love is fresh, why not come along to our little cruise this Sunday (see thread). The meeting point is not TOO far from you (since it's north of Sydney) and I think we'd be happy to make a non-RX8 exception (so we can all have a mutual drool over the new toy).
Plus, not sure if you saw my question above. Do you know the crew I saw at Terrigal on Sunday?

It's a gorgeous car Daz, learnt a little about these in recent weeks. It's stock, I assume? What do you have in mind for it?
New job, eh? I can't believe they didn't make it worth your while to stay. Their loss. Hope you enjoy the change in career mate.
Cheers,
Gomez.

The owners of Central Coast Mazda sound like they're the grateful type. With any luck you'll get the chance to replace their fire alarm one day, wink, wink.
Let us know if you can make it on Sunday.
