He is a very frustrating man to deal with who appears to have only the bottom line of Mazda in mind not the enjoyment or experience of the people who create that bottom line. Its a legacy that I think will hurt Mazda Australia in the very near future.

#6 **** retard at Mazda Australia

Normal people cant work with that guy for any more than a few months without losing it at him or walking out. Thats how Mazda Australia lost perhaps their best ever guy (aka-Daniel Deckers) The real man behind the RX-7SP, 800SP, MX-5SP.

Horsley actively prevents enthusiasts from getting enthusiastic about their Mazda's using Mazdaspeed parts. He's reasons are selfish. He wants to do Mazdaspeed himself but for years now he can't garnish the support to get it off the ground I'm told (perhaps his reputation preceeds him) then wont let others do it as they would take the ball & run with it.

Interesting insight Dave and well said. I can just imagine it now...A japanese car manufacturer allowing an aussie importer (Because thats all Mazda Australia are) take over their race division pfffft!

Thanks. That's the closest anyone's come to explaining that issue for me.

I wonder if AusRotary or OzRenesis or some other Mazda-based club could enter into a dialogue with Mazda Australia on this issue - it would obviously pack a bit more punch than single owner whinges. It is just dumb that we import these parts ourselves when I think many would be prepared to order them from MA provided the price gouge wasn't too silly.

Something for you to do in your 'spare' time andrew. lol. Id like to see the fluffy response they give you ike evry other issue.

If Mazda made these item avaliable at time of purchase as optional extras they may tap back into a different market as well. There are plenty of Mx-5 owners and 3 owners who would quite happily pay for these bodykits/accent/performance mods from Mazdaspeed.

Hmm...interesting. So here I was thinking it was the excessive demands on a prosecutor's limited time and financial resources which drove them to the drink

Relax Trev, I don't torture overworked prosecuting sergeants . I don't do crime - it doesn't pay!
