While browsing the mazda site and looking at the prices of some of the accessories i stumbled on something that wasn't there before...!

OEM Bluetooth hands-free..!

That price is a bit ridiculous, but other than that i'd love to have that in my car!

I daresay that its a module that is integrated into the headunit.

Too bad my GPS already plays music and has bluetooth. The music stops when a phonecall comes through and does a pretty good job!

 

Hmmm my 1st thought was that it wasnt to bad in price, but then I realised its only an interface to the HU audio. No display, nothing.

The best kit I have found is the Parrot, which is $350ish dollars. Unfortunately you need to buy a $150ish dollar adapter to get it to work with the bose system. But that being said for under $100 more if you have the Bose system or about the same price if you dont you get the works.

 

I wonder if it has a microphone and how well that would pick up the drivers voice. Would it be possible to stream music from your phones?
