speaking of "check out the grill" - the pic you posted has a very different centre grill look and feel - that's not what we get here in AU?

they really stand out!

thats a bloody scary amount of meat on that bbq... hope you had atleast one leaf of lettuce somewhere..

as for the pic L&L posted.. I have to say I prefer the solid looking grill on the front of the model of RX8 in the picture you posted to the somewhat wimpy version we ended up with in AU..

but it would be a **** to sqrew a number plate to from the look of it..

looks like the front end of a mazarati I test drove a while ago.

otherwise it looks like the same basic car, from wheels, tires [ guessing by the height of the side walls ], the front end bottom "scoop" looking little gizmo - I don't think we got that here standard.. the rear spoiler is standard looking but an option here in AU - it's a nice looking car though - is that the standard silver / platinum though?

poor bastards ended up with orange indicator lenses - argh..

and no matter how many times I see it, I can't get enough of the elegant rotary shape indentation in the bonnet of the RX8.

One for the kook's here - I like to play a game with the indented rotary shape on the hood in the rain infact, if you get enough heavy rain on you while you drive, you get these little pools of water forming and from 30 km p/hr up through to 120 km p/hr - whats really neat is that at 30k the pools of water ( they mirror - left and right hand side of the indented area ) are long deep globby things - up at the top end of around 100+ k, you get a long thin streached line of streaks ..

a little "bizaro" idea to seed in your head for the next drive in the rain you get * grin * try to forget that next time you drive in the rain * grin * - oh - remeber to keep at least one eye on the road ok.

Installed my grill kit today!

I just cannot contain myself. I just found it hillarious.

Hymee, this means absolutly no dis-respect to the great works you've done to the grill kits.

this is apparently all part of my nightly relaxation routine.

do some art work, followed by light comedy, even if its sick, and a quiet chat of the boards.

maybe i should do more art work...practice i mean.

The sight of that grill -- all that meat -- brings me to a Roy & HG moment!

Hymee's next creation HAS to be the definitive RX-8 bull bar, capable of allowing us to take our 8's out pig-shooting west of Moree :D

Draw it up for us Kas (then post it in the Multimedia forum -- it'll confuse our American friends for weeks!!)

How the fark did I miss this one. I must have been busy.

Now I need to go and spew.

Actually - that grill with the meat on it - I saw a couple of lifestyle shows in the US, one was doing custom Harley jobs, and the other was custom vehicle builds. The show I saw the built "The Ultimate Tailgating Machine". Tailgaiting is having a big barbie "from the tailgate" of you pickup, normally in the carpark at a big ball game. This big Ford truck was modified, and had a huge slide-out gas barbie...

Cheers,
Hymee.

Hymee

Since you have had so much success with your grills , i was wondering if you could make up the following for the rx8,s

1: Laser guided missile launchers (helps in heavy traffic situations )

2:Taser electric doors and panels to detter would be rx8 thieves ,from getting near rx8 (shocking though)

3:invisibility cloak so we can travel unnoticed (high speed manouvering)

4:Low cost and efficient free fuel to drive rx8 ( air or h2o)

5:Portable toilet so we dont have to stop on long trips (smell free)

6:Magnetic , magical fumes from exhaust that makes 19 year olds want to , be with rx8 drives in nights of passionate love.

HOPE THIS IS NOT ASKING FOR TO MUCH ???

Michael

I'll have a (3) and a (6) please.

I'd also like the back seat area converted into a Tardis to keep my harem of love sick 19 year olds...

Just the invisibility cloak, please. Nothing else is necessary. Oh, wait a minute! A coat hook would be good :p

I'll have a coat hook too ... and a twist of lemon

Actually, the lack of a simple coat hook is quite strange when you consider the rest of the car.

Am now v. confused! Does that mean, L&L, that sometimes it is you on this forum, and sometimes your son? Is he that one that can spell? I'll bet he likes red, too.

OK, I will concede I quite like yellow, as in $50 notes :p

Timbo my definition of colour is strong bright colours i hardly feel pinkish, and mauve grey tones constitute colour , kev has the right idea strong vibrant avatar even though its ---, i promised kev i would not mention the colour --- FOR AT LEAST 3 POSTS .

No mullet only a moustache and a goaty style beard .
