need assist help on power sterring and coil burnt out

Hi Guys,

I was wondering what should i do ... with the RX8

Problem no.1.

When turning during parking the steering would self move and it the steering becomes heavy while turning it.. it doesnt shows the EPS (Electric Power steering) warning light on the dash board.

Problem no.2.

The RX8 went dead while driving.. and found the igniton coil 2pieces burnt out?.. what could cause that ?

So ive replaced a new ones 2 pcs Top 1 piece and Lower 1 piece... after a few dayz it burnt out again ... now the car is stuck again in the garage..

Anyone who has ideas on what i could replace and get it back running on road or similar problem like mine?

thanks!

Your dealer will definitely be able to help you out. Have you tried contacting them? Especially if your car is still under warranty, bring it back to the dealer.

Regarding coil burnt out, there was a safety recall recently on the spark plug, it could be related.

Search is your friend.

Power Steering failure:

Hint: Check fuse.

Coil failure

I suspect short circuit, if so there should be a DTC code for it. Let me check.
