You know Drew, you could record a voice that says "Hands up, on the ground, NOW!" and you'll never have to yell to criminals anymore LOL

I've considered where to put the round adhesive disc to postion my Garmin in the car, and I'm in two minds......

Should I position it centrally (or on the R/H drivers side of the dash) or......disregard the mounting disc and stick it on the windscreen only when I need it?????

Discussions on this subject in the search function are inconclusive....

I stick mine to the r/h driver side (near the A pillar), as it's the least obstruction to me. Mounting it centrally seems to be obstructing your view too much (not that I have actually tried though). And if you're not using it, just take off the unit, leave the holder on the windscreen.

I put mine on the RHS because you have to lean very far in to press it when its on the LHS.

it aligns perfectly to the dash and is in a great acco avoiding position!
