Nats: none of this would have been possible..
Ok, this might be a long one: go make a cup of tea and I might be finished by the time you get back
I just want to record publicly my very great thanks to the many people who made the Nats such a success:
Our sponsors and supporters:
Mazda Australia, in particular, Allan Horsley, Jodie and Nathan…and also Jon Waterhouse, Michael Nordsven and Scott Harbers from Reliance Automotive Services…www.mazda.com.au
They helped make it happen, and they made sure all participants will remember the event. Smooth as, too...
Performance Design Australia, the home of Hymee Enhanced…in particular, Mark Pickering and Ross Cockburn…www.performancedesign.com.au
Rotor Master, the premier rotary race organisation and pro drag race team in the Australasian region…in particular, Joe and Jacqui Signorelli and their skilled team…www.rotormaster.com.au
Whiteline Automotive, Australia’s premier developer, manufacturer and supplier of after market suspension components…in particular, Jim Gurieff and Wojtek Rogulski…www.whiteline.com.au
SurrenderOnline, the web development and hosting company that supports www.rx8club.com.au…and in particular, Phillip Parisis …www.surrenderonline.com.au

Suppliers, who made really good suggestions and delivered exactly...or better...than promised
Bill Slocum at Paddywack Promotional Products
Lisa Drayton at Eldee Timing Solutions
Michael at Capital Trophies
Paul Chapman and his team of photographers
13BSeven, who also jumped in to do some photographs
People who just did stuff and made it even better
• Gomez, for arranging a boxful of Mazda trinkets courtesy of Snap On (from the .com forum)
• Brewer, for bringing some...er..product!
• Jellybean, for helping with 'freight' and registration
There's always a danger in making these lists that you'll forget someone, especially when you are still pretty tired after the event. If I have, it is simply because it slipped my mind.
But I do want to single out MACCAA and Revolver for the effort and support they put in behind the scenes. I can't begin to describe how much they did, solved problems and made things work.
Finally, all the participants: OK, I was hoping it would all work, but everyone came with such a positive attitude and a desire to have fun....and...what? ...90% of you had never met each other before! But from everything I saw and heard, you had a ball. I did, and if you can say that during and after one of these sorts of events, that just made it great.
HOW GOOD WAS THAT?!!

An absolute pleasure to be involved (well, mostly
).I'd like to add my thanks to all mentioned by Timbo and agree that MACCAA is deserving of especial gratitude. It's no mean feat to take on the responsibility he discharged with such unflappable aplomb on Saturday. We're lucky to have him.
And Timbo - have a
or ten on me!
