More bling for BLOOD :D
Woo got my kit done last week thought i'd share. Its a mazdaspeed original spoiler, but the rest of the kit is a MS replica kit.
I've had some people PM'ing me regarding my carputer setup (if you saw it @ the last cruise).. so i'm attaching a video to show how i've set mine up.
The major difference between my setup and the other US rx8's setup is that I think i'm the only one (yet) to gets the buttons working as well. The stock rx8 nav panel has the motor controller embedded within the screen itself so replacing the stock screen with a touch screen essentially gets rid of it.
I made a custom board running a micro controlling the two buttons (as you'll see in the vid) - works great and I can send a reset signal to my carputer by pressing both buttons together The micro i've used is a bit of an overkill but yeah.
The carputer itself is a VIA EPIA mobo, 1gb ram, 60gb 7200rpm 2.5" hdd and about 6 40mm case fans :D
Heres the link to the vid showing the touchscreen + motor control mechanism
=) enjoy..

Thanks bro. I'm waiting on my Teins atm, so when that gets put on probably drop it slightly.. i'm not too keen on damaging the panels lol
It just misses the driveway but a tiny bit so i'll have to be very careful when i'm playing with the ride height.

I saw this carputer setup when Jambos and I went down for the last Sydney cruise.. It is brilliant and so is the video... Well done Kunz..
I like the new body work too, but I was thinking of Ezzy and his lowered car when it had to get (or not get) over the car park speed bumps...

You've got it bad kunz!
Still think the MS front air dam is far and away the best aftermarket front. Like the spoiler too but I find the skirts a bit boxy looking.
Keep us posted on the teins.

Im still not sure lol i like the way it looks without the badge but I might add it later on when I get bored of what it looks like w/o the badge.
Maybe I should set up a poll.. what do you guys think? Should i put it on or leave it debadged? I'm not fussed about it cos it looks great either way.

Ah lol too late :P
I've put the stock badges back on! Only because I've had countless number of people asking me what car it was!
