I'm in for Saturday or Monday (not Sunday - Grand Prix).

Any suggestions for a good photo op location? On the bay somewhere perhaps.

 

Monday sounds good... Weather Forecast mild and fine

Locations: I am thinking Brighton - beachside car park (near Southroad), or Station Pier (a lot of people I think), Kew Yarra Bend (near Royal Talbot) or Richmond Yarra Bend (near the M1)

 

i'll be on the gold coast enjoying the forecast storms....great (not)

but i'll be in on the next one

you should consider cardinia dam for the following reasons:-

1/ great drive
2/ great photo opportunity with the dam and hills as a backdrop
3/ only 45 minutes from city

 

only 10 min from my place too... let's go there... should be wait for KARCPA?

 

Where exactly is cardinia dam ? Another weekend would suit me.

 

I'll be at heathocte on the race track on sunday. All are more than welcome to join me and have a race/chat/bbq.

cardinia dam is straight up wellington road, (15k/m approx) from stud road, before emerald.

 

You ok oodlum for next week... it suits me just as fine if it is on a Sunday... at Cardinia is perfect... I can have a lazy morning. I am living in Berwick now.

I can do Saturday afternoon... coz I am bringing my car to change oil in the morning at City Mazda

 

shoudl be fine, i'm in endeavour hills so it's like 15min drive away.. but dunno if my sister would have returned the car back yet.. she has it till the back of our house finish renovating

 

Next week no worries.

 

Cardinia next weekend would be OK for me too.

I will probably bring a kid as well. Maybe a family fun day?

 

I am fine with that ... probably my wife will come too... or may be not if everyone is turning up single.

Since KARCPA interested in the "dam" we will meet at the Lookout carpark of Cardinia.
