Wow 25 cars with a possible extra 15 in one city I don't even think that there is 25 RX-8s on this whole forum.... I hardly ever see RX-7s anymore - do they all live in Melbourne?

No they are not all FD RX-7s and I don't think there is any RX-8 there. Most of them are RX-3 and the FCs. I doubt I will like to join the hoons. PLus I am actually in Sydney that morning.

Cmon Taka let's remember it is the properties of the rotary engine that we love as do all the "hoons" at ausrotary and without all the previous rotaries we wouldn't have our beloved 8's
The sounds of all the brap brap brap rotaries cruising down the highway together is an experience not to be missed :D

No Probs Taka I saw you were in Sydney anyway
There is no way I am going to get in the way of an almost blue belt ( I am not that brave) Goodluck MissRX8 and naturally Lock and Load will be expecting photos of you with your new belt :D

I will be going along on the cruise and just posted the info in case someone feels like blowing the cobwebs out. It is being organised by the ausrotary crew not me . I am still deciding which rotary to bring :p

Working that day. Convenient as well, seeing as I live in Melton.

Mmmmmm S4 Convertible MANUAL TURBO Mmmmmmmmm
Originally it was an auto turbo YUCK but I Lurv having the manual. For a small time I put the RX8 gearknob on just so I could have 6 gears instead of 5 but have now reverted to a S5 5 speed ****
By the way money for stickers transferred Friday so should be in your account Tuesday, sorry I ended up working all week instead of relaxing in front of the computer :D

So far the cruise looks like having 40-60 cars should be a real BUZZ to hear them all fired up.

Gary come to our track day with either your 8 or S4 Turbo....

How are you able to get out on the race track on a Tuesday.

Stuart and myself will go... it is on the 19th July

Andrew will give you an SMS tonight regarding meeting place tomorrow. I reckon Kew junction or High street will have good cafe or a buncheon.

The cost of the day is $285.00. Fot all the other info and help with contacting Luke I am very sure when Taka see's this he will give you a helping hand.

Really worth it though, and the more rx8's we have from here the more fun the day will be!

I will post a link and sign up detail the moment I received the paperwork from O'Neill.

Luke usually sends the invite 3 weeks from track day so I think I will get it next week. I have hold up some places already so everyone can guarantee an entry :p

Gary. Any question. Ask me.

I know better than Luke how to run his day :p You will notice on the day... j/k

$285 is with instructors, helping hands, Michellin boys checking your tyres, bonus sit in rides (I have been on an Exige, Noble twin turbo, and the Chelham ?? spelling), BBQ lunch (very nice), water and ice-cream (I did asked for that last time) provided.

The day runs in open sessions ...

It was a really good turnout. Rick and I turned up to fly the RX8 flag . There were about 40 cars turned up with the weather looking a bit overcast however NO RAIN all day and some hints of sunshine later in the afternoon. Please note weather Qld people, but I did like the wet weather RX8 photos from Qld.
All eras of rotaries were there with a lovely little r100 some rx2's 3's 7's etc.
Biggest news of the day was the 3 car collision 2 minutes into the cruise. Oops :D
Use the previous link, then go to the past events section to see some nice pictures
I couldn't do the whole cruise but it was great to listen to the brap brap brap of the early rotars and witness the amazing performance of our rotary brethren
