Can't imagine that you have been in Japan for a month and still cannot speak Japanese. I thought it comes with a Japanese manual

Knock yourself out. Mez did a thread.

The steps for the RP SS would be the same as the Mazdaspeed. If you want some help let me know.

You have done the right thing.

Some extremists post on a 2006 cruise/ track thread, stating their intention to come!

I've tried a Honda Accord Euro with short shifter (I used to own one as well so can feel the difference), and yeah, it was really good. So I can't wait to install this one on my car

Anyway, I've installed it weeks ago, and to tell you the truth, I'm far from happy with it.

Don't think I'll buy any of the MazdaSpeed brand again, IMHO, they are over rated. I tried Kall's AFE short shift and AFE is definitely shorter than mazdaspeed. So anyone thinking to get mazdaspeed short shifter, DON'T! Save yourself some bucks and go for AFE.

I like Kall's shifter, but I prefer my stock one for daily driving to be honest. It could be a little shorter, but I find the throw quite comforting, and it's still shorter than the modified shifter in my other car.

Don't blame on Mazda Speed. They have some good stuff there. Being short is not everything. At least I have not heard any one complain about winding noise from the tranny after the MazdaSpeed shifter
