MazdaSpeed B spec

I guess there are many post talked about it before. If you are kinna out of it then here is the update.

From AutoSalon in Tokyo the B spec is out and most of the component sold is kinda on sale but I can't not find more info about them offically yet - see if any of you can tell me more info (from Jap mag) about this parts.

A spec is well known with bodykit (Draytoy's), muffler, flywheels, internal decorations and stabilizer and strut bar (which I love)

B spec has more:
1. 4 pot brake caliper *(PTA).
2. Height adjustable suspension *(PTA).

Some came out.
3. Oil cooler kit - wait - I think it said - with my Japanese level - that it is a conversion to twin set. I guess some of the low power engine bear a single oil cooler like ours??? Fantasic news if it is true right?
4. Sport Radiator - will be top of the list along with the oil cooler.
5. Air filter and oil filter (I will get it now when I have time)

Exciting...

Taka

Taka:

So is this the B-Spec?

It is one of the only 300 MS A-Spec RX-8 sold in Japan. This car is also shown in the current Motor Magazine (page 12). This car looks SOOOOOO HOT!!! Love it!

cheers,

richie

RIchie ... it is hard to tell. Is that gorgous anyway. I am going to have the front bumper I reckon.

The body kit you can get it easy. DragToy's car will be looking like that - nearly when he fit in the rear bumper.

The difference between A and B is more functional parts (as stated above).

I havent compare the whole list of spec of the MazdaSpeed RX-8 sold in Japan. They are just RX-8 with those parts. Except the dark sea blue I don't think they are not much of a "must have" item. Coz I would prefer to choose the mod - more fun.

In the UK the Rx comes with twin oil coolers already. I take it this is not the same everywhere?

Taka...

the reason why I guessed it was the B-spec Rx8 in the picture is because that 8 has MS brake calipers at the front and you can actually see that.... but as you said, it is really hard to tell without more details photos...

cheers,

richie

Smart a ... richie. Did not notice that.

How come I always thought MazdaSpeed Caliper will be blue in colour. If they have a choice of colour like the Endless. What will you choose for the black cars?

red! I painted my last cars calipers blue as it was a silver car and you couldn't see them. you need a colour that stands out. yellow calipers on a yellow car look great since it is a bright colour. I'm not going to go blue even tho my 8 is blue.

well.... I will stick with the black caliper though... because there is a Mazdaspeed white logo on the caliper... and it is more eye catching if you leave the caliper black with your black 8....

THanks dude. I like your car more... I am so much want to look like your car with MazdaSpeed wing and stuff. You know Chuck from rotaryextreme? His copies are good looking on the photo and I am tempted to get a CF wing from him in MazdaSpeed style.
